God's Vision for FBC
The people of First Baptist Church faithfully gather together under the Lordship of or Savior, Jesus Christ to worship Him and devote ourselves to become His followers by seeking to:
- Know Jesus
- Love Jesus
- Serve Jesus
- Share Jesus
Our Mission
As a body of believers at First Baptist Church Sweetwater, we have been established by Christ and strengthened by the Holy Spirit to carry out our mission as given in God's Word:
- We are to WIN the lost to Christ,
- EQUIP belivers to live the Christian life,
- MINISTER to the physical, emotional, mental and spritual needs of people,
- SUPPORT mission efforts by actively seeking to share the Good News in our Community, our stte and to the uttermost parts of the world.
We realize He has equipped up with the needed materials and people to carry out this mission.
