Children

Our children are very important to us at First Baptist Church. Our kids are going to form their first impressions of God and the church through our ministry so we want that picture to accurately reflect how awesome it is to have a relationship with God! It is our goal to share the love of Christ with every child who attends here. As we strive to make these things happen in our ministry, and do it with excellence, we make it the best hour of every kid's week! Every Sunday at 9:15 a.m. we have Sunday school (Bible Study). During this time your child will learn about God's truths through activities, games and music. We have special theme Sundays where kids can experience what it was like in to live in Bible Times. Chill in' with children is another popular event where we hang the icicles in the hall, and have Popsicles all while studying God's Word! We don't stop there on Sunday Mornings we have class and department fellowships throughout the year giving the children plenty of fun Christ-centered events to attend!

We offer numerous opportunities for your child. Bible Drill (each Sunday afternoon) is a program where kids memorize scripture as well as learn to locate and know the Books of the Bible. Wednesday night we offer Kid X. During the summer months we offer numerous fun and exciting camps that kids can attend. Our camps range from day camp to weeklong camps where your child can interact with other kids while having fun swimming and playing as well as a time for deeper study into God's Word.
