Pastor Search Team Updates
May 23 Update:
The Pastor Search Team continues to meet, pray, and discuss God's will in our church. We are receiving applications and will be beginning the interview process soon. We covet your prayers. April 10 Update:
On April 10, the Pastor Search Team was commissioned being formed of First Baptist members: Mollie Brock, Darrell Doggett, Robert Eaker, Barbara King, Jeff Lay, Steven May, and Cathy Wilks.
February 28, 2023 Update:
On February 28, 2023, Pastor Jerry Hendrix transitioned from the Senior Pastor at First Baptist and became the Interim Pastor. Jerry served as Pastor for 8 years at First Baptist and continues to help the church as we search for a new Senior Pastor.
As a church, we continue to pray for the Pastor Search Team as they seek God's guidance for our next Pastor.
